The Streets of NYC Get a South Park Facelift
South Park is celebrating its 20th anniversary by putting its fans first, and the celebration continued in NYC with the takeover of Times Square’s Schubert Alley. The street was covered in every single South Park character over the past 20 seasons—and this was just one extension of several immersive #SouthPark20 experiences being created across the US, allowing fans to interact with their favorite show in ways like never before.
At the center of all the celebration is a traveling sculpture garden that brings the town of South Park to life, which debuted at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. And while fans were eager to snap pics of that installation, fans in Schubert Alley were all about fan love and sharing why the show still resonates 20 years later.
