David is the Vice President of Social Data Strategy at Viacom. In this role, Berzin is tasked with building advanced data products that improve the design, delivery and effectiveness of social-by-design integrated marketing campaigns. Reaching nearly 1 billion social fans, Berzin works closely with Viacom’s in-house data science teams, premier social data vendors and the company’s social network partners. Prior to this role, David led Viacom’s Social Products group where he built user facing experiences across Viacom’s network of websites and applications, and the data collection platform that sat beneath. From “VMA” voting experiences to commenting on The Daily Show, these social platforms are utilized by millions of fans across the Viacom brand footprint. Outside of work, David enjoys composing and performing music, ice hockey and volunteering with sustainably-minded organizations in the food / health / wellness space. He is a graduate of The University of Michigan.
